Wood Pellets

We supply spiral conveyor systems for the timber industry and for private users, for example for feed of wood pellets to heating installations.

With our flexible spiral conveyers it is possible to convey wood pellets horizontally, vertically and in curves.

Through the absence of corners, gears or chains the plant is completely maintenance-free.

Notes for assembly / installation

The pipes and bends of outer Ø 90 mm should be assembled and fixed in the required position using pipe clips.
The conveyor bends are supplied in 45° segments with an inner radius of 1500 mm and must be adapted to local circumstances by cutting to length.
Not more than one 90° bend or two 60° bends or three 45° bends should be installed in a single conveyor system. The conveying line should be supported at intervals of around 2 meters.
The conveyor system can be assembled by the user using the enclosed installation instruction.

Spiral Conveyers for Wood Pellets

Low-noise, dust-free transport of wood pellets in curves and ascending gradients with low energy expenditure – reliable and tailor-made for every installation position and application.
Through the smooth movement of the spirals the wood pellets are protcted from damage.
Since no bearings, corners, gears or chains are used in the spiral conveyers the installation is completely maintenance-free.

Outstanding Features:

5.

A low-noise motor is used to drive the spiral conveyer.

Discharge point for horizontal to vertical installation position.

Conveyer pipes and bends (approx. 1.5 m radius) are made of plastic with a wear-resistant, smooth inside surface.

The flexible conveyer spiral is made of specially hardened steel, and is characterised by its high tensile strength and elasticity.

The individual receiving hoppers are fixed at a distance of approx. 70 cm from each other on the floor and guarantee trouble-free removal of the wood pellets.

Pellet hoppers
are available in three types:
1.
Individual hopper for floor fixing, preferably for types with no sloping walls; this system has been proven across many years and convinces with its flexibility. The pellets are accommodated on one side of the hopper. Up to eighteen hoppers can be installed in a conveying line.

2.
Hopper of sack silos. These feature a pipe with a 150 mm diameter and crimp. The hopper is connected to the sack silo by means of clips.
A number of silos can also be installed in series and discharged by means of a conveyor spiral. The necessary height beneath the sack
silo is 160 mm.

3.
V type hopper, with lengths of 1.5 m and 0.5 m.
Bolting together of a number of hoppers makes it possible to achieve an extension length of up to 6 m. These should preferably be used for pellet chambers with sloping walls. The sloping walls must be made by the customer himself, and can be connected without difficulty thanks to the design of the V hopper.
