Rigid Spirals Type SG
 
Spiral conveyers of the SG series are characterised by their particularly robust construction.
With a maximum conveyer pipe diameter of 700 mm it is possible to transport coarse-grained material up to a chip length of 200 mm using this spiral conveyer, with a very high conveying capacity.

In addition to the already well-proven flexible SF spiral conveyers, the same type of installations with a diameter of up to 700 mm, of standard steel and stainless steel construction, are now available. However, these unusually robust spirals can be installed only in a straight line construction.

Advantages of Steiner SG Spiral Conveyers:
    
     
The size of the material to be conveyed is of minor importance with these spiral diameters.

Since the spiral can be deflected to avoid contact with the transported material, jamming of the material is prevented.

Through the absence of a screw shaft long-fibre materials can also be conveyed.

Owing to the particularly robust construction of the flat steel spirals, conveyers with only one drive, and without an intermediate bearing, can be constructed up to a length of 30 metres without problems.

Through the absence of thrust bearings, intermediate bearings or couplings SG conveyers are practically maintenance-free.

Spirals of the SG series can be used both in drawing and pressing types of construction.

Conveyer troughs are constructed in plastic, St 37 steel or stainless steel, depending on requirements.

Conveying capacities of 10 m³/min are possible.
